Currently investigating the effect of queen dominance on the
movment, protection, body weight and reproductive potential of polygyne queens.
Developed a method to determine the dominance hierarchy of polygyne queens in
the laboratory. Also, conducting experiments to determine the effect of
temperature and food availlability on the survival and reproduction of fire ant
colonies.
